Going alone also means choosing your own pace. Getting up when you want, deciding on your itinerary at the last minute, walking, sightseeing, reading, cycling… or simply doing nothing.

At La Girouardière , in La Flèche, we love this way of travelling.

Whether you are on a personal getaway, passing through the region or on a business trip, our house allows you to enjoy your stay without ever feeling isolated .

Here, you travel alone… but you are welcomed

La Girouardière is a family home on a human scale.

You have your own room and your own peace and quiet, but you also have access to common areas where you can sit down to read, have a cup of herbal tea, watch television or simply exchange a few words.

In the morning, a buffet breakfast is served in our large common room.

And on some weeknights, our communal dining room allows those who wish to dine on site.

The choice is yours: enjoy your peace and quiet or share a moment with us and other travelers.

Taking care of yourself, even when traveling alone

Traveling alone can also be an opportunity to finally give yourself some time.

A walk around the lakes of La Monnerie, a bike ride, a few laps in the pool in season, a moment in the Nordic bath or sauna when the days get cooler…

Then, to return to the peace and quiet of his room.

At La Girouardière, wellness is not reserved for romantic getaways.

An ideal stopover for discovering La Flèche and its surroundings.

From La Girouardière, you can discover the La Flèche Zoo, the lakes of La Monnerie, the banks of the Loir and the many sites of Sarthe and Anjou.

Our location between Le Mans, Angers and Saumur It also allows you to stop for a few days before continuing your journey.

Cyclists are welcome: La Girouardière has the Accueil Vélo label and is located near the Vélobuissonnière and Vélocénie routes.

And for those who travel for work

Traveling alone also includes all those professionals who spend several nights a week away from home.

We therefore designed La Girouardière to make these stops more pleasant: private parking, Wi-Fi, early breakfast available on request, dinner on site during the week and Evening Stopover Pro package.
