The calm, in the evening… but also in the morning

In the evening, some travelers return home tired from a day of work, a visit to the La Flèche Zoo, a walk, or a long drive. They simply want to rest and enjoy the peace and quiet.

In the morning, the rhythms are just as different.

Some get up very early to go to work or hit the road again. Others are on vacation and want to start their day calmly, with a leisurely breakfast.

No one goes to bed at the same time.
No one wakes up at the same time.
And nobody wakes up at the same rate.

That is why we simply ask everyone to maintain a peaceful atmosphere, both in the evening and in the morning, in the rooms, corridors, breakfast room and outdoor areas.

Respecting everyone's need for rest is an integral part of the experience we wish to offer at La Girouardière.

Dining at La Girouardière

We also want to clearly explain a particular feature of our house in order to avoid any misunderstanding.

La Girouardière is a guest house and not a gîte or residence with a shared kitchen or dining room with free access.

For this reason, meals and food from outside cannot be consumed on the property , whether in the rooms, in the common areas or outside.

This organization allows us to maintain the cleanliness of the rooms, the comfort of everyone, the peace and quiet of the house and the quality of the spaces we share with our travelers.

However, we wanted to offer several alternatives so that dinner would remain simple and enjoyable.

Depending on the day and availability, you can enjoy our table d'hôtes, our dinner platters and various catering options served on site , which are already very popular with many travelers.

La Flèche also has many restaurants.

And if you prefer a takeaway meal or a picnic, the designated areas around Lake Monnerie, very close to La Girouardière, offer a particularly pleasant setting.

We are of course always available to advise you before or during your stay.

A few simple rules for everyone's comfort

To ensure everyone can fully enjoy their stay, we simply ask that you respect a few rules of conduct:

preserve calm, particularly between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.;
respect the sleep and rhythm of other travelers;
do not consume outside meals on the property;
respect common areas, rooms and equipment;
No smoking or vaping on the property;
respect the schedules and conditions of use of the swimming pool and wellness areas;
Our animal friends cannot be accommodated.

These rules are not meant to complicate your stay. They simply allow very different travelers to share the same place in good conditions.
